Main features to be seen here are the Lugards Water falls, Mdanda Rock, Yatta Plateau, a high rise land seen from the main road. It is at this area that poachingof elephants was at it’s worst during the 1970s,

Main features in this smaller area of Tsavo west are the Chyulu Range of hills and Mzima Springs which is a stream of crystal clear water erupting out of the soil and on which a fascinating observatory tank has been built.
